{"id":91,"date":"2024-03-27T04:44:58","date_gmt":"2024-03-27T04:44:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/endeavourafrica.com\/blog\/?p=91"},"modified":"2024-03-29T14:12:46","modified_gmt":"2024-03-29T14:12:46","slug":"affordable-housing-levy-activation-web-payroll","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/endeavourafrica.com\/blog\/affordable-housing-levy-activation-web-payroll\/","title":{"rendered":"Affordable Housing Levy Activation \u2013 Web Payroll"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]With the implementation of Affordable Housing Act, 2024 (the Act), Note following changes which affects Payroll.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Contributions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Employees are required to contribute 1.5% of their Gross Salary<\/li>\n<li>Employers are required to contribute 1.5% of Employee\u2019s Gross Salary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Affordable Housing Relief:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All Residential Employees are entitled to Affordable Housing Relief of 15% of their Contribution<\/li>\n<li>Maximum Relief Per Yearly Limit is 108,000 which equals to 9,000 Per Month<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Note: <\/strong>Effective Date of<strong> Affordable Housing Relief <\/strong>is still not notified through a Gazette Notice at the time of sending this email, we kindly request customers to check with relevant Authorities and Auditors before effecting Affordable Housing Relief.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Affordable Housing Levy Act 2024 Effective From:<\/strong> March-2024<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Activate Affordable Housing Levy, follow below mentioned steps<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Login to Pay Master Web \/ Enquest HCM Payroll Module<\/li>\n<li>Navigate to Menu Setup &#8211;&gt; Payroll Setup &#8211;&gt; Payroll Settings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-92\" src=\"http:\/\/endeavourafrica.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/pay1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"482\" height=\"382\" srcset=\"https:\/\/endeavourafrica.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/pay1.png 482w, https:\/\/endeavourafrica.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/pay1-300x238.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 482px) 100vw, 482px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Scroll Down to NHDF Levy Calculation Section<\/li>\n<li>Activate Housing Levy Deduction by Ticking \u201cEnable NHDF Levy\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Set Required Values as per below Mentioned Screenshot (Default Values are already pre-filled)<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Note: Default Value for Affordable Housing Levy Relief is set to 15%, We request you to Set it to 0 % (Zero %) till the time it is Effected.
