Affordable Housing Relief:<\/strong><\/p>\n

- All Residential Employees are entitled to Affordable Housing Relief of 15% of their Contribution<\/li>\n
- Maximum Relief per Year Limit is 108,000 Kshs which equal to 9,000 Kshs Per Month<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Note: <\/strong>Effective Date of Affordable Housing Relief <\/strong>is still not notified through a Gazette Notice at the time of sending this email, we kindly request customers to check with relevant Authorities and Auditors before effecting Affordable Housing Relief.<\/span><\/p>\n
Affordable Housing Levy Act 2024 Effective From:<\/strong> March-2024<\/p>\n
To Activate Affordable Housing Levy, follow below mentioned steps<\/strong><\/p>\n

- Login to Pay Master Desktop<\/li>\n
- Navigate to Menu System –> System Settings<\/li>\n
- Click on More Settings –> Settings 5<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

- To Activate Housing Levy, Tick Mark \u201cApply Affordable Housing Levy\u201d & Set Required Rates\/Values (By Default Values are already set.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Note: Default Value for Affordable Housing Levy Relief is set to 15%, We request you to Set it to 0 % (Zero %) till the time it is Effected. Once Effected, you can set it back as per the Gazette Notice.<\/span><\/p>\n

- Click On Ok on all the screens which opened to Save the Settings<\/li>\n
- Now Log out and re-Login again<\/li>\n
- Ensure that Employees are Applicable to Affordable Housing Levy, from Employee Information screen as demonstrated in following screenshot<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

- There is Bulk Update Option Provided Under Menu System \u00e0 Settings \u00e0 Employee Settings as well<\/li>\n
- Now you can Auto Calculate Payroll Again and check Payslip to confirm the Deductions<\/li>\n
- If you wants to show Affordable Housing Levy Relief on Payslip, then set it from Payslip Designer Page<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

- Make Sure Previous Years & Months are closed before making these Changes<\/li>\n
- After making these changes No Auto Calculation of previous Months should be done i.e., Prior Months.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
